Local indie pop stars Spoon performed several sets at SXSW 2017 including a packed show at the Radio Day Stage at the Austin Convention Center on Friday, March 17th. Not only was it St. Patrick’s Day, but it was the release of Spoon’s 9th album Hot Thoughts featuring the steamy ballads of front man Britt Daniel.

While the infectious groove of “Do I Have to Talk You Into It” aroused the crowd, fan favorites “I Turn Camera On” from 2005’s Gimme Fiction and “Do You” from 2014’s They Want My Soul got the crowd moving that afternoon in the ballroom.
