Soundgarden has announced on their official website that they will be embarking on a tour in July with prog rockers The Mars Volta.

“We are excited to bring you the announcement you’ve been waiting for. Soundgarden will be playing a series of concert dates from July 2 to July 30. Today, four shows from their Summer tour are announced, with more to come in the coming weeks.”

Pre-sales for the tickets is already underway; however, the sale dates will be staggered as more tour dates are announced. So far the following dates have been revealed:
