Similar to the “Regular Show” and “Adventure Time” 11-minute episode format, three brand new animated series were announced by  Cartoon Network as part of the shorts development initiative at Cartoon Network Studios: “Uncle Grandpa,” “Steven Universe,” and “Clarence.”

The panel at San Diego International Comic-Con 2013 featured “Uncle Grandpa” creator Pete Browngardt, creative director Audie Harrison, and Adam DeVine (of “Workaholics,” and the voice of Pizza Steve); “Steven Universe” creator Rebecca Sugar and creative director Ian Jones-Quartey; and “Clarence” creator Skyler Page.
