SDCC 2012 Artist Series Interviews: Steve Argyle, Peter Kuper, and Gary Montalbano

Steve Argyle is an artist who does illustration work, 3D CGI, concept design, and more. He has provided artwork for the Knights of the Old Republic Campaign Guide and the Star Wars Galaxies Trading Card Game, as well as Magic: The Gathering, among many other projects.

Peter Kuper’s illustrations and comics appear regularly in Time, Newsweek, The New York Times, and MAD, where he illustrates “SPY vs. SPY” every month. He has also created a number of graphic novels and adaptations, including Kafka’s The Metamorphosis.

Gary Montalbano is a publisher of his own line of fine-art poster prints, and published a book, Memories Within Dreams: The Art and Concepts of Gary Montalbano, via his publishing company, Sarka-Navon Design Publishing in 2010. Gary’s work has been influential in projects for Marvel Productions, Universal Studios, ILM, and more, and he has recently worked with Warner Bros. Animation.
