In the wake of the breakup of The White Stripes, Jack White’s Third Man Records label will be releasing a new package consisting of a double-vinyl recording of the final White Stripes show in 2007, a live DVD, and a 7″ vinyl of some of their earliest recordings.
The double-vinyl, Live in Mississippi, is a recording of the band’s final show in Southaven, Mississippi on July 31, 2007. The DVD, Under Moorhead Lights All Fargo Night, is a recording of a show at Ralph’s Corner Bar in Moorhead, Minnesota in June 2000, shortly after the release of their album De Stijl. And lastly, the 7″ single features two songs that the band recorded in 1997, before the release of their first single: covers of Love’s “Signed DC” and Otis Redding’s “I’ve Been Loving You Too Long.”
