Very emotional, but very powerful music accompanies Arjen Van Wijk’s wide-ranging vocals. I don’t like the name of this band, namely because of its emo stereotypicality, and because I worry it may turn off people who would judge an album by its title. Falling on Deaf Ears is very sincere, and the musical performance and production is pristine.
