Thinking Machines are a band from Marysville, Pennsylvania (near Harrisburg) who play a very solid live set as heard on this record. They refer to their music as “space rock,” which is a good title. The songs on this record are slow, but complex and interesting. When you least expect it they throw in a guitar riff or a scream that sticks out from the rest of the song — yet it fits in so well with everything else.
