The Scarred

In the last six years, The Scarred have made a name for themselves as one of the hardest working bands in the underground punk scene today. Their blitzkrieg, energetic live show has made it’s way across the country over 20 times since the band formed in 2003.

At the inception, The Scarred’s first demos made waves in DIY zines across the country. This was quickly followed by touring in the old burnt out van, playing everywhere from garages, basements, bars, even an abandoned trailer, and an elevator lobby to some of the best stages in the most rockin’ clubs in America.

Following the release of No Solution on the now defunct Punk Core Records, The Scarred found themselves without a label. Basement Records quickly stepped in and became good friends with Justin and Isha and began talking about releasing a new record. After the initial chat they quickly started work on their upcoming full length At Half Mast. The band picks up where they left off with catchy melodic guitar driven songs, in the vein of their earlier West Coast counterparts Bad Religion, Adolescents, and Agent Orange.
