The Queers are back on Lookout! You all know what this sounds like: think Ramones and the Beach Boys. The production is right on, with big guitars and rad backing vocals. The highlight of this disc is the song “I Wanna be Happy.” It was an unfinished demo from the late, great Joey Ramone, and finished up by Joe Queer and Ben Weasel. I hope they tour the shit out of this record, and show the kids what pop-punk is suppose to sound like. Down with the bands like Saves the Day! Long live The Queers!
