I’ve been a Teenage Fanclub fan for a long time, so of course I was excited to hear the latest release. I put in the CD and wondered who had replaced Norman Blake’s vocals? Little did I know that Jad Fair is singing vocals with Teenage Fanclub as background music. Jad has been writing music for more than 20 years and has collaborated and influenced many bands. He has a very strong and clear voice, reminding me of Built to Spill, but with its own uniqueness. This release is definitely worth checking out if you want to hear something different or if you’re a fan of Teenage Fanclub, Jad Fair, or even Built to Spill.
