Slowride plays melodic punk rock, Green Day-ish in it’s foundation, but so much more layered on top. The vocals are a breathier, soothing incarnation of Ann Berretta. And curse me for enjoying sappy songs with self-aware titles like “I’m a Jenny Jones Zero” and “I’m Everything Without You.”
