Sleater-Kinney

Recently, Sleater-Kinney released their first new song in nine years, “Bury Our Friends,” on a seven-inch single included with their new vinyl anthology. You can now stream the song in its entirety below.

In addition, the bandmembers (Corin Tucker, Carrie Brownstein, and Janet Weiss) have officially reunited, announcing the release of their first album in 10 years, No Cities to Love. The album is due out January 20, 2015, and will be the first record for the band since 2005’s The Woods, which was released on Sub Pop Records.

Sub Pop promises that Sleater-Kinney’s eighth full-length will be the their “most explosive” music yet: “We sound possessed on these songs,” Brownstein said in a statement, “willing it all — the entire weight of the band and what it means to us — back into existence.” The full track list is below.

The band is also going to be heading out on tour in February and March 2015 – click here for the dates.
