The new Shugo Tokumaru album, Port Entropy, will be released on February 15th on CD, LP (180 gram green), and MP3 formats through Polyvinyl. 

Port Entropy, the fourth album from the Japanese multi-instrumentalist, is his most cohesive album to date. Tokumaru was first introduced to a larger degree to US audiences with his 2008 critically acclaimed album Exit which saw him tour with The Magnetic Fields and lead a backing band featuring members of Beirut and The National.

The standout track on Port Entropy, “Lahaha,” showcases some of Tokumaru’s most interesting arrangements paired with instantly catchy melodies (sung in his native Japanese).
