It’s amazing, but true: Shonen Knife has been at it for nearly 30 years, and in 2010 are releasing their 16th studio album, Free Time. The Japanese version has already been released; the English-language version is slated for an August 31st release on Good Charamel Records. In addition to recording a second version of their newest release, Shonen Knife have kept active on the festival scene, recording various tracks for Cartoon Network and several tribute comps, and are heading out on a tour this fall in support of their forthcoming release:
