Here is a band with something to say! Satanic Surfers include songs about domestic violence and racism, on top of punk’s usual call to remove our corrupt oppressors. They claim that our “democracy no longer represents us” and that our politicians are “consumed by greed”. Somehow, they were able to relax a little, and write a song about the days of summer, with nothing to do but lay in the sun. All in all, this is a fabulous album. The songs are catchy, fun, with pressure-packed lyrics.
