River City High contributes three tracks to this sampler from their new CD River City High Won’t Turn Down, and Piebald adds three tracks as well: one from their Rock Revolution EP and two from their upcoming album on Big Wheel, Piebald Feeds the Horse. Well, as far as I can tell by the two new songs from Piebald, they’re staying the course that got them where they are: fast emo with lots of changes, and strained, slightly off-key vox. Hmm…there are so few songs, I don’t have much to go on. I do like the titles of the two new songs: “Look, I Just Don’t Like You,” and “The Monkey Versus the Robot.” Sounds like a good matchup.
