According to Alternative Press, Eighteen Visions bassist Mick “MickDeth” Morris passed away in his sleep Sunday, June 2, 2013, due to a pre-existing heart condition. He had been in and out of the hospital recently but had been released, according to former coworkers.

Morris, a native of Salt Lake City, had also been the guitarist for SLC vegan straight edge band xClearx, was also at one time the bass player for Bleeding Through. Following the dissolution of Eighteen Visions, he toured as a tech for Hatebreed, and worked for Century Media Records and the Sumerian Records-owned SoundCheck Hollywood. He is survived by a young son, Jude.
