Recently, Nirvana’s In Utero 20th Anniversary Edition was released, and it includes the original mixes of the album’s songs by engineer Steve Albini. Included in the deluxe edition’s artwork is a letter Albini sent to the band upon being contacted by the band to record with him. He starts off by mentioning that he was making an album with Fugazi, and ends it by practically begging the band to not pay him a fortune. Read it below.
