Rapper 50 Cent has been released from a hospital after suffering minor injuries when his SUV was involved in a traffic accident early Tuesday morning in New York. 50 Cent (Curtis Jackson) was driving a bullet-proof SUV when he was rear-ended by a Mack truck on the Long Island Expressway in New York City. He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries.

“He was released this morning and is doing fine,” Keesha Johnson, the rapper’s spokesman at DKC, said in a statement.

Newsday released a photo of 50 Cent being removed from the scene of the accident on a stretcher.
