Prior to the start of the Sunday festivities on the Punk Rock Bowling main stage, The Real McKenzies played an intimate poolside show at the Oasis at the Gold Spike. The party raged from 1 p.m. until after 4, as hundreds of attendees filled the pool to overflowing and stood along the railing of the motel’s three stories to take in the performance. Shahab Zargari scrambled along the balconies and trespassed onto the second-level roof to snap some pics of men in kilts, women in bikinis, and a whole lot of tattoos and beer bellies.
