Public Enemy have announced that the will release two new albums in 2012, one this summer and the other in the fall, to celebrate their 25th anniversary. The albums will be recorded using money raised from fundraising campaigns.

The records, titled Most of My Heroes Still Don’t Appear on No Stamp and The Evil Empire of Everything, are two halves of a conceptual piece.

“The next two albums will ‘talk to each other’… One [deals] with the whole movement of people…and the other deals with the situation of everything coming at you at once, like a blizzard,” Chuck D told Billboard. “The statement with these albums … [is] in the audacity of the release.”

No official release dates have yet been disclosed, but the albums will feature guest appearances from Brother Ali, Henry Rollins, Tom Morello, DMC, and more. (via P4k)
