PRISMO PERFECT – Out of Nowhere

reviewed by Garrett Lyons | Wednesday, December 15th, 2010

Prismo Perfect is a group from Brest, France that plays noisy lo-fi electronic pop along the vein of Waaves and Japandroids with hints of MGMT thrown in. Every song on the EP is rock solid with the raucous yet harmonic “Summer in the Kitchen” and the synth-y brilliance of “Wired Feelings” being true standouts that could break this band wide open. Out of Nowhere is noise pop to an extent, but is wonderful harmonic with lo-fi vocals playing along nicely with the synth sounds and noisy beats. This is a solid debut EP and should be a sign of things to come.
