Roughly a year after the break up of Las Vegas-based Holding Onto Sound, the new band made up of three alums — Zabi (bass), Bob (guitar) and Vanessa (drums) — took to the stage on February 1st at the all-ages Artistic Armory art gallery and venue space. There was tons of art and records for sale, free pizza and lots of booze. If that wasn’t enough, two of the valley’s most amazing bands took to the stage with them: The Core and The Quitters. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for all of these bands. They will be making their marks in 2014.
