Mat Hayward covered Bumbershoot 2011 for Verbicide. He was all over the 3-day festival, capturing jaw-dropping shots of every performer he came across. The lineup was stellar featuring locals Shabazz Palaces, Lake, and My Goodness, plus plenty of folks from out of town, including Butthole Surfers, Das Racist, Minus the Bear, Atari Teenage Riot, Yacht, and more. (Even Hall and Oates stopped by!) The weather was perfect. Who says it always rains in Seattle?
