What needs to be said about this release? You either love Rancid or you hate them. You either love NOFX or you hate them. Either way, you know them.

This full-length CD has six tracks from each band covering the other’s songs, and it’s quite interesting. I really don’t like NOFX at all, but I can appreciate their innovative cover of “Radio,” and, for the most part, the Rancid half of the album is great — especially their Rancidized versions of “Vanilla Sex” with Lars on vox and “Don’t Call Me White,” featuring the growl of Matt Freeman. The downsides of the album are NOFX’s obnoxious bastardization of “Olympia, WA” and the Rancid cover of “Stickin’ in my Eye.” Even Rancid can’t save that lousy overplayed song.
