At long last, a rumored “sound collage” music montage assembled in 1988 by Kurt Cobain has been found. Created well before his fame with Nirvana, “Montage of Heck” was made on 4-track cassette recorder. It features sounds from Kurt’s collection of LPs, manipulated recordings of the radio, elements of Nirvana demos, and sounds that he created or recorded.
