Netflix has begun to sneak some clever marketing into its website to promote the forthcoming fourth season of “Arrested Development.”
For instance, search for the word “blue” on Netflix’s website, and a blue handprint appears on the screen. Clicking on the handprint launches Netflix’s video player, queued up to the scene in the season two episode which the prints reference.
In addition, Netflix has added fake streaming titles to their library with with titles likeĀ Les Cousins Dangereux andĀ Families with Low Self Esteem (see below).
Season four of “Arrested Development” will be coming to Netflix in May 2013. The season will feature 14 episodes, more than originally ordered. (via The Verge, image below via Adweek)
