My Bloody Valentine have scheduled their first tour dates in nearly three years — all three dates are in Japan, and are a ways off, as they will take place in February on 2013.

The band formed in Dublin, Ireland in 1983 and performed through 1997. They reformed in 2007, and, according to Prefix, still have a “mysterious new album in the works.” CoS reports that the band plans to release a new album and EP in 2012, which would be the band’s first material since 1991′s Loveless.
