Not surprisingly, one of the best-selling musicians on the planet is also the world’s most-pirated. Research conducted by online anti-piracy company MUSO reveals that The Beatles are the most-pirated artist in the world by a long-shot.
MUSO compiled its top 10 most-pirated artists by monitoring site which respond to its own takedown requests, and The Beatles, with 187,687 uploaded files have more than twice as many files as the second-most pirated band, Fleetwood Mac.
Bob Marley, Led Zeppelin, and British pop singer Cliff Richard round out the top five.
