Penguin Australia is dumping upwards of $20,000 (USD) into the destruction of 7,000 copies of their cookbook The Pasta Bible after it was found a recipe for tagliatelle with sardines and prosciutto called for “salt and freshly ground black people.”
The 7,000 copies to be destroyed are only the remaining warehoused copies; there are no plans to recall the copies already in stores because, according to the publishers, it would be “extremely hard.”
