I like this album…very relaxing music, the type of stuff I like to hear while I’m writing or traveling and need some soothing music to get me into my zen-like mode of concentration. Migala is composed of six Spanish musicians who create very intricate, almost eerie ballads (many instrumental). In fact, it is not until over seven minutes into the CD when on the third track, “Fortune’s Show of Our Last,” do we get to hear the breathy baritone voice of singer Abel Hernández. Arde is Migala’s debut release; they are sure to be noticed not only in their home country Spain, but by fans all over North America as well.
