In anticipation of Metermaids’ new EP Rooftop Shake, the duo is readying the release of a brand new mixtape, HELLO. The nine-track project is hosted and mixed by hip-hop’s own avant-garde DJ, DJ Rob Swift – also a contributor on Rooftop Shake – providing cuts for the EP. Known for his turntable expertise and genre mashes, Rob Swift mixes and cuts across HELLO, bringing with him a heightened level of fluidity to the project.

Releasing the second single off their mixtape, HELLO, Metermaids bring another indie rock remix that reworks the original with DJ Rob Swift and producer, Matt Stine. Taking Grizzly Bear’s hit, “Two Weeks”, Swell and Sentence of Metermaids again add their own twist, crafting an original concept, new lyrics, and a new melody utilizing piano and vocal chops from Grizzly Bear’s catchy original into their own “Yellow Tape”.
