Faber & Faber, 287 pages, paperback, $12.79
A decent collection of short stories set around themes of sexuality and love (mostly sexuality). Of the seven, there are a few I enjoyed, especially the last story and the first, both humorous tales of stubborn, insecure, and immature men who needlessly dig themselves into absurd holes from which they struggle to escape. The other stories are readable, yet rather forgettable.
