Jason Drake (a.k.a. Cassettes Won’t Listen) has been served with his second cease and desist letter in three years. In 2008, a cease and desist appeared from the RIAA for his Guns N Roses/Ludacris mashup titled Ludacris Democracy, a release which matched up the yet-to-be-releasedChinese Democracy with Ludacris acapellas. Axl complained, and the mashup was removed from the internet.
Now, Cassettes Won’t Listen has entitled a brand new album KEVINSPACEY, to be released June 21st, but the album’s namesake is having none of it. Served with yet another cease and desist, Cassettes Won’t Listen has renamed the album EVINSPACEY.
