Jurassic Park

According to producer Frank Marshall, Jurassic Park 4 has been in various stages of development for quite some time now. Though development seemed to dwindle at times, there have been some recent developments lately:  Steven Spielberg announced at last year’s Comic-Con that they had a story in mind and hoped to make the film within several years, and late last month, Rise of the Planet of the Apes screenwriters Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver were brought onboard to pen the script.

Now, Spielberg’s longtime producer Frank Marshall has provided an update. Marshall has stated, “I would say that it will be on the screen within two years,” and he cited the advances in visual effects as one of the exciting things to look forward to: “That’s what’s gonna be great about it, technology’s taken a leap now that we can really do some great things.” He also confirmed that it’s a sequel, not a reboot or remake.
