“It is the first step in creating an interactive online museum with access to the entire collection, one of the most important archives in modern music history,” said Tom Barker, director of the John Peel Centre for Creative Arts.
The interactive museum will run from May to October across various platforms, including PCs and smartphones, and will feature a rendering of Peel’s home studio and record collection and personal notes, and will allow users to view archived performances of the John Peel Sessions and artist interviews.
