A few days ago, we reported that three new members could be joining the cast at “Saturday Night Live” for the forthcoming season. Now, it appears that a fourth cast member could be on the way: 22-year-old stand-up comedian Jay Pharoah.

Pharoah, who hails from Virginia, has twice visited New York for screen tests and visits with the shows producers. His strengths lie in his “huge arsenal of celebrity impressions” including Eddie Murphy, Will Smith, Denzel Washington, and, most strikingly, Barack Obama, which could finally give us a rest from having to deal with Fred Armisen’s horrible impersonation.
