It’s interesting to speculate what musicians or celebrities might look like when they get older — just take a look at this image of what people in 1985 thought Michael Jackson would look like in 2000.
While that one is pretty far off, it’s easy to believe that a series of images by Sachs Media Group and Phojoe are a bit more accurate. The two companies teamed to create digitally manipulated portraits of a dozen music legends (Kurt Cobain, Dennis Wilson, Karen Carpenter, Bob Marley, John Lennon, Keith Moon, Elvis Presley, “Mama” Cass Elliot, Bobby Darin, Jim Morrison, Janis Joplin, and Jimi Hendrix) if they were still alive in 2013. The portraits are so convincing that it’s easy to forget that you’re looking at people who died young and never got to grow into the old age pictured here so naturally.
