Hollow Earth plays noisy, metal-tinged hardcore; the band is adapt at building atmosphere, which leads to some apocalyptic mid-paced chugs, but they also know how to ratchet up the speed and go for broke. At their best, they combine these two elements seamlessly into their songs.

“The Reclamation” opens with eerie-sounding guitar figures before building into a roar. “Black Blood Of The Earth” goes fast and furious ending on a feedback-drenched breakdown. “In The Mouth Of Madness” alternates between loud and quiet, adding some monstrous riffs to the mix. “Beneath The Weight Cross” adds some catchy rock n roll to their sound, while “The Dissolution” adds some spoken word, amongst the monstrous riffs and shifting dynamics. In total, with Silent Graves, Hollow Earth have created a crushing full-length that will delight fans of the more freewheeling side of metallic hardcore.
