Henry Rollins

According to Variety, Henry Rollins will be starring in the lead role of the forthcoming horror-thriller film He Never Died. Rollins will star as Jack, who has prolonged life by buying stolen blood, until his criminal past come back to haunt him. Steven Ogg is slated to co-star with Rollins.

108 Media is selling international markets at the American Film Market. Shooting starts November 13, 2013 in Toronto.

As stated in Variety:

Rollins read the role a year ago and met Krawczyk and producer Zach Hagen of Alternate Ending Studio and “basically begged” for the opportunity to be involved, he said.

“It’s one of the best scripts I’ve ever read,” he added. “As a character, Jack is perhaps far less than normal, which suits me very well. He’s not all that bad a guy, which is different. I don’t get many of those. He is in a very rare and strange situation and I really want to be part of the action.”

This will not be Rollins’ first foray into horror. He appeared in the 2007 horror movie Wrong Turn 2: Dead End, and later appeared in 2009’s The Devil’s Tomb.
