Sub Pop Records reports that Greg Dulli (Afghan Whigs, The Gutter Twins) is heading out on his first-ever solo tour. The tour, dubbed “An Evening with Greg Dulli” — leaving no doubt as to the stripped-down nature and pretense of the affair — will entail 29 shows played in five different countries, 14 of which will be performed in the US.

Dulli will be accompanied by long-time Twilight Singers guitarist Dave Rosser and multi-instrumentalist Rick Nelson (Polyphonic Spree), and the selection of songs will encompass Dulli’s entire career.

A new Twilight Singers album is scheduled for release on Sub Pop in 2011, the group’s first in five years.
