Coming up in March, Green Day will be releasing their second live album on Reprise Records (following 2005’s Bullet In a Bible) entitled Awesome as Fuck. The album will be released with a DVD as well. There has been some confusion as to where exactly the live album was recorded — NME incorrectly states Tokyo — but it appears that it was recorded in August 2010 in Denver, as the album will include the debut of a new song, “Cigarettes and Valentines.” Here is a video clip from the show, where the band announces that they are recording a live album, shortly before delving into the new track.
