Green Day announced the cancellation of their show in Bologna, Italy, due to the hospitalization of front man Billie Joe Armstrong:
“We sincerely apologize to our fans, but unfortunately due to illness Billie Joe has been hospitalized, and we regretfully must cancel our performance in Bologna, Italy this evening. We are beyond devastated and will make it up to you when we come back next summer.”
The band’s new album ¡Uno! will be released on September 25, 2012. The other two albums in their trilogy will be released later in 2012 and in early 2013: ¡Dos! comes out on November 13th, and ¡Tré! will be released on January 15, 2013. (via Dying Scene)
