If you’re a child of the ’80s, you’ll recognize that this is clearly a tribute to Cy Kill, the main bad guy in the “Gobots.” They were the transforming robots that Michael Bay didn’t ruin. And I was one of about, oh, 10 kids outside of Japan who watched the cartoon and bought the toys instead of Transformers.
