Is Denver considered part of the “Midwest?” Because this band really fits that whole Midwest/Caulfield Records kind of sound. I like it a lot, especially the first track, which I listened to over and over when I first got this album. DeNunzio isn’t one of those overly-experimental indie rock bands with a whiny vocalist and time changes every five seconds — this album is just seven tracks and 25 minutes of pure rock music; the type of album you could listen to on repeat while driving on a long road trip; the type of album that would make you forget that you were keeping a lookout for cops on the highway on that road trip and earn you a $150 speeding ticket. Seriously, it could happen.
