Deltron 3030 has released “Melding of the Minds” featuring Rage Against the Machine hermit Zack De La Rocha. The track appears off the anticipated upcoming album Deltron 3030: Event II, set for release on October 1st, 2013 via Bulk Recordings in deluxe and standard digital editions as well as vinyl and instrumental vinyl.

Describing the partnership, Dan the Automator explained “Zack was a logical choice to be on this song because of the spirit of the record. He’s iconic in his political leanings. He brought along a feeling of tension, one that exists between the little man and big corporations/goverment.”

Additionally, Deltron 3030 will be touring this fall in support of Deltron 3030: Event II. The tour will feature a sixteen-piece orchestra — dubbed the 3030 Orchestra — on select dates, in addition to the three-piece touring band. Juan Alderete, known for his work in The Mars Volta and Racer X, will play bass on the October leg of the tour. The tour will begin on October 8th in Boston at Paradise and end on October 25th at Mountain Oasis Festival in Asheville, with more dates to be announced soon.
