In Sebastian Silva’s Crystal Fairy, Michael Cera plays Jaime, an “ugly American tourist” who ventures out on a trip to a Chilean desert to trip on a magical cactus. But when an uninvited guest tags along, the vacation is thrown a little off course. Gaby Hoffmann plays the free-spirited hippie follower who seems in desperate need of new pals.
