Back in April, Coachella unveiled a hologram of Tupac Shakur, which performed alongside Snoop Dogg and initiated a whirlwind of rumors stating that the hologram would go on a tour, and that other dead performers (such as Freddy Mercury) would also be going on tour.
Now, it appears that that won’t happen, as CNN reports that Digital Domain Media Group, the company that created the hologram Tupac, has filed for bankruptcy.
Recently, the company had made public its concerns with debt and overhead, so the filing does not come as a surprise. DDMG had been developing an Elvis Presley hologram as well.
