After all I’d heard about this band and how great they supposedly are, I was expecting a lot more. Well, perhaps I wasn’t expecting more, I was just expecting something different than this. I was hoping for some genre-transcending rock music, not MTV-friendly, poppy, Hot Water Music-ish emo-core. The music is tight and the musicianship is good, but that doesn’t make up for generic vocals and the fact that the overwhelming amount of common pop-punk being put out these days is really starting to get to me.
