Greg Ginn‘s newly reformed Black Flag have released their first new song in 27 years. The single, “Down in the Dirt,” can be downloaded for free here.
Black Flag announced its reunion in January, and will begin touring this month. The band will also be releasing a new album in 2013 — it’s first since 1985’s In My Head. The band features founding member Greg Ginn and second vocalist, Ron Reyes.
Concurrently, a second version of the band, Flag — featuring former members Keith Morris, Dez Cadena, Chuck Dukowski, and Bill Stevenson, plus guitarist Stephen Egerton of Descendents — is touring in 2013.
